likelikelab client terms

Draft of Oct 18, 2026. The short version: you (the client) ask Blue Coast Water, LLC for work: opinions, tests, reviews, posters, creator posts, shoots and insights. BCW prices each request, runs it with likelikelab earners, and shows you the results. You accept or flag the work. You pay only for accepted work, once a month, by wire, within 15 days.

  1. The parties

    1.1 These terms are between Blue Coast Water, LLC ("BCW", "we"), a Delaware limited liability company, and the company that signs up or signs an order ("the client", "you").

    1.2 likelikelab is BCW’s platform. BCW is the only party that bills you and the only party that pays the people who do the work ("earners").

    1.4 The person who accepts these terms confirms they may bind the client.

  2. What BCW provides

    2.1 The kinds of work on offer ("services") are shown on the client menu and include:

    • Opinions: product decks (people like or pass on products), this or that, short questions, website first looks, picture and video ad checks;
    • Tests: website and app tests on a phone or computer, with a screen recording (and on a computer the tester’s voice) and notes per step;
    • Wear and review: you supply products, BCW sends them to earners, earners wear them and review them;
    • Street: posters and flyers in real places, with photos and code scans;
    • Social: creator posts for your brand, labelled as ads;
    • Shoots: models and crew for photo and video shoots;
    • Insights: reports such as what will sell this season, retailer news, and buyer briefs.

    2.2 Insights are built by BCW, not self-serve. You ask; BCW (its owner) builds the report or brief and delivers it to you as a private page or file. The price of each insight is in its order, before BCW starts.

    2.3 BCW may also run ad campaigns for you in your own ad accounts, under a separate order.

  3. How a request works

    3.1 You send a request: the kind of work, the products, how many, by when, the audience, and the price (the list price, "Faster", or a lower bid).

    3.2 Nothing goes live until BCW approves it. BCW approves and prices each request, or sends back a change or a counter-price that you accept or withdraw.

    3.3 Once live, earners do the work and BCW checks it before you see it.

    3.4 BCW may refuse a request, or stop one that is live, if it breaks these terms, the law, or BCW’s rules for earners (for example a task that would be unsafe, misleading, or aimed at anyone under 18).

  1. Results

    4.1 Results show as the checked work arrives.

    4.2 Results are grouped. You never receive an earner’s name, contact details, GPS location, score, or the wide and storefront photos of a poster. Numbers by group (age group, place) are shown only when at least 30 different people are behind them. Quotes are shown without names.

    4.3 Test recordings. For a test, you see the recording and the tester’s notes, without the tester’s name or contact. A tester’s voice or screen may still identify them, so you agree:

    • to use recordings only to improve your own website, app or product;
    • not to try to find out who a tester is, contact them, or publish a recording;
    • to keep recordings confidential and limit access to people who need them;
    • to delete or return recordings when BCW asks because a tester’s private information appeared in one.

    4.4 Creator drafts. If you chose to see creator drafts, you see the draft, the caption, the creator’s handle and follower count, never the creator’s real name or score. You OK it or ask for one change with a note.

    4.5 Shoots. Photos of a child model are shown to you only on that shoot’s screens, after booking, and only for the use the release allows.

  2. Accepting or flagging work

    5.1 For each batch of delivered work (a deck, a set of posters, one test, a post) you either accept it (and may rate it 1 to 5) or flag it with a reason.

    5.2 If you do neither within 14 days, the work is accepted automatically. BCW reminds you at 7 days.

    5.3 Flagged work is not billed until BCW decides. BCW looks at it and either:

    • agrees with the flag: the work is credited and never billed; or
    • finds the work meets the request: the work is accepted and billed, and BCW tells you why.

    5.4 Earners are paid on BCW’s approval. When BCW agrees with your flag on work it already paid for, BCW carries that cost; it never comes back to you, and BCW does not recover it from the earner.

    5.5 Your ratings help BCW decide which earners get which work. You never see an earner’s score.

  3. Prices

    6.1 Prices come from BCW’s price list for each kind of work, or the price agreed on the approved request. The request shows the price, any promotion, and the total before you send it.

    6.2 You see only your own price. What BCW pays earners and what BCW keeps are BCW’s confidential business information and are not shown to you.

    6.3 Discounts (shown on the invoice line):

    • First campaign: 20% off your first campaign, up to $500 off;
    • Volume: 10% off accepted work over $2,000 in a calendar month;
    • promo codes and any rate BCW agrees with you in writing.

    Discounts reduce BCW’s share only; they never reduce what earners are paid.

    6.4 BCW may change the price list. A change never changes the price of a request BCW already approved.

  4. Invoices and payment

    7.1 BCW sends one invoice a month for the work you accepted that month (and any insights delivered).

    7.2 Invoices are due 15 days after the invoice date, by wire transfer to Blue Coast Water, LLC’s bank account shown on the invoice. BCW does not take cards.

    7.3 If an invoice is 30 days or more overdue, BCW may hold new requests until it is paid.

    7.4 Prices do not include taxes. If sales or use tax applies, it is added as its own line on the invoice.

    7.5 If you think an invoice is wrong, tell BCW within 15 days of the invoice date, in writing, and pay the parts you do not dispute.

  5. Your responsibilities

    8.1 What you supply. You supply products, photos, briefs, claims and any words earners must use. You confirm you have the rights to them, and that product claims in your briefs are true and can be backed up.

    8.2 Wear and review products. Products you supply for wear and review are gifts to the earners. They are not returned to you. BCW records their value.

    8.3 Creator posts. Every creator post BCW arranges for you carries #ad and the platform’s Paid partnership tag. You will not ask a creator to remove the label, hide the connection, or make claims you could not make yourself. Both you and BCW have duties under the US Federal Trade Commission’s endorsement guides.

    8.4 Posters. You are responsible for what your posters say. BCW and its earners put posters only in places that said yes.

    8.5 No direct contact. You will not contact, hire away, or pay earners directly for work found through likelikelab, and you will not ask earners to do work outside likelikelab, for 12 months after the work.

    8.6 No targeting minors. Tasks are done by adults. You will not ask for any task aimed at people under 18. Child models on shoots are booked only by BCW, through a parent or guardian, under each state’s rules.

    8.7 You will use the services lawfully and not use results to discriminate against anyone.

  6. Who owns what

    9.1 Yours: the products, briefs, photos and materials you supply; and, once you have paid for them, the results and reports BCW delivers to you for your own business use.

    9.2 BCW’s: likelikelab, its software, task designs, methods, report templates, the shared deck engine used for buyer briefs, the price list, and anything BCW learns about running the work. BCW may use grouped, de-identified data from your work to improve its services, without naming you or showing your products to anyone else.

    9.3 Creator posts and shoot photos: the licence you get (where, how long, which media) is set in the request and in the creator’s or model’s release.

    9.4 Earners give BCW rights to their work (answers, recordings, reviews, photos) under the earner terms, and BCW passes to you the rights these terms describe.

  7. Confidentiality

    10.1 Each side keeps the other’s confidential information private and uses it only for these terms. BCW’s confidential information includes its earner pay, margins and earner information. Yours includes unreleased products, plans, sales and retailer information you share.

    10.2 Unreleased products shown to earners in tasks are shown under the earner terms, which require earners to keep them confidential. BCW cannot guarantee that no earner ever breaks that promise.

  8. Personal information

    11.1 BCW is responsible for earners’ personal information under the likelikelab privacy policy. You receive only what section 4 describes.

    11.2 BCW collects your staff’s names, work emails and sign-in details to run your client account, and your billing details to invoice you.

    11.3 If you receive any personal information through the services (for example a voice in a recording), you protect it, use it only for the purpose in section 4, and delete it when BCW asks or when you no longer need it.

  9. Warranties and limits

    12.1 BCW will do the work with reasonable care and as the approved request describes.

    12.2 Opinions are opinions. Results show what earners thought and did. BCW does not promise that a product will sell, that a prediction or insight is right, or any business result.

    12.3 Apart from 12.1, the services are provided as they are.

  10. Term and ending

    13.1 These terms start when you accept them and continue until either side ends them with 30 days’ written notice.

    13.2 Either side may end at once if the other materially breaks these terms and does not fix it within 15 days of notice.

    13.3 When the terms end: live requests stop, you pay for work accepted (including work accepted automatically under section 5.2) up to the end, and sections 7, 9, 10, 11 and 12 keep applying.

  11. General

    14.1 Relationship. BCW is an independent contractor to you. Earners are independent contractors to BCW; they are not your employees or BCW’s.

    14.2 Records. BCW keeps records of requests, work, ratings and invoices. Records are archived, not deleted, except where the law requires deletion.

    14.3 Notices by email to the addresses on the client account.

    14.4 Changes. BCW may change these terms with 30 days’ notice; a change never changes an approved request.

    14.6 These terms, plus each approved request and order, are the whole agreement for likelikelab services.
